The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, invites applications for various Group “A”, “B”, and “C” posts. The Council operates through 27 Institutes/Units across the country, with its Headquarters in New Delhi.

Application Procedure Notes
- Applications and fee payments must be submitted online only through Net Banking/UPI/Debit Card/Credit Card.
- Candidates must fill the Online Application Form in English language only.
- Applicants are advised to apply well before the last date to avoid technical issues due to heavy website load.
1. Details of Post/Pay/Grade/Vacancy/Age/Qualification and Experience
Candidates must possess the following qualifications for online registration:
Group 'A' Posts
- Research Officer (Homoeopathy)
- No. of Posts: 12 (05 UR, 02 SC, 04 OBC, 01 EWS)
- Pay Scale: Level 10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500) + NPA
- Maximum Age: Not exceeding 40 years (Relaxable for Government Servants up to 5 years).
- Essential Qualification: MD in Homoeopathy from a recognized Statutory Board/Council/University (included in the 2nd Schedule to Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973) AND enrolment on the Central Register of CCH or State Register of Homoeopathy.
- Research Officer (Endocrinology)
- No. of Posts: 01 UR Post
- Pay Scale: Level 10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-) + NPA (Wherever applicable)
- Maximum Age: Not exceeding 40 years (Relaxable for Government Servants up to 5 years).
- Essential Qualification: Master's degree in science in Zoology/M. Pharma (Pharmacology) from a recognized University/Institute AND 03 years research/teaching experience in Bio-Medical Sciences after obtaining Master Degree.
- Desirable Qualification: Ph.D in relevant field.
- Research Officer (Pathology)
- No. of Posts: 01 UR Post
- Pay Scale: Level 10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-) + NPA (Wherever applicable)
- Maximum Age: Not exceeding 40 years (Relaxable for Government Servants up to 5 years).
- Essential Qualification: M.D. (Pathology) from MCI recognized institution.
Group 'B' Posts
- Junior Librarian
- No. of Posts: 01 UR Post
- Pay Scale: Level 6 (Rs. 35,400-11,2400/-)
- Maximum Age: 25 years and below (Relaxable for Govt./Public undertaking employees and other categories).
- Essential Qualification: Graduation in Library Science from recognized University AND one year experience in a Library of recognized institution/University/Department.
- Footnotes: Qualification(s) and experience relaxable at the discretion of the Council for well-qualified candidates or SC/ST candidates if sufficient numbers are not available.
Group 'C' Posts
- Pharmacist
- No. of Posts: 03 (01 UR, 01 SC, 01 OBC)
- Pay Scale: Level 5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300/-)
- Age: Between 18 and 25 years (Relaxable as per DoP&T orders).
- Essential Qualification: 12th Standard pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry or Biology from a recognized Board or University AND Diploma or Certificate course in Homoeopathy Pharmacy of at least one year duration from a recognized institution.
- Desirable Qualification: Basic knowledge in Computer.
- X-Ray Technician
- No. of Posts: 01 UR Post
- Pay Scale: Level 5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300/-)
- Maximum Age: 25 years and below (Relaxable for Govt./Public undertaking employees and other categories).
- Essential Qualification: Certificate in X-Ray Technology of minimum two years' duration from a recognized Institution AND one year experience in handling X-Ray plant in a recognized Hospital or Institution.
- Footnotes: Qualification(s) and experience relaxable at the discretion of the Council for well-qualified candidates or SC/ST candidates if sufficient numbers are not available.
- Lower Division Clerk
- No. of Posts: 27 (11 UR, 05 SC, 02 ST, 07 OBC, 02 EWS). 02 posts reserved for eligible Ex-Servicemen.
- Pay Scale: Level 2 (Rs 19,900-63,200)
- Age: Between 18 and 27 years (Relaxable for Government/Public Sector/Autonomous Bodies employees up to 40 years).
- Educational Qualification: 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
- Skill test Norms on Computer: Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (Time allowed: 10 minutes).
- Driver
- No. of Posts: 02 (01 OBC, 01 EWS)
- Pay Scale: Level 2 (Rs 19,900-63,200)
- Maximum Age: 25 years and below (Relaxable for Government/Public Undertaking employees and other categories).
- Essential: Pass Middle School Examination from a recognized school AND Valid Driving License for Light and Heavy Vehicles AND Experience for about two years in the line.
- Footnotes: Qualification(s) and experience relaxable at the discretion of the Council for well-qualified candidates or SC/ST candidates if sufficient numbers are not available.
Note on Vacancies
- Vacancies for Group “A”, “B” & “C” posts may be increased or decreased.
- 01 Group-A post (Research Officer - Homoeopathy, Pathology, Endocrinology) is reserved for PwD, preferably Visually Impaired (VI).
- 02 Group-B&C posts (Pharmacist, X-ray Technician, LDC, Driver) are reserved for PwD, preferably for OH.
2. Concessions/Relaxations
- Reservation: Posts are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Other Backward Castes – Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Persons with Bench Marked Disability (PwD) and Ex-Serviceman as per Government of India Directives.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC & ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwD (UR), 13 years for PwD (OBC-NCL), and 15 years for PwD (SC/ST).
- Certificates: Reserved category candidates must submit original caste certificates in the prescribed format during document verification. OBC-NCL certificate must be within 1 year before the closing date.
- PwD Eligibility: Only PwD persons with not less than 40% disability are eligible for reservation. Age relaxation for PwD is applicable even if applying for unreserved posts.
- Central Government Civilian Employees: Entitled to age relaxation up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST) for Group 'C' posts under specific conditions.
- Ex-Servicemen: Allowed to deduct military service period from actual age, plus three years, for age limit calculation.
- Crucial Date: The last date for receipt of applications will determine the age limit.
3. Selection Procedure
- Group 'A' Posts: Online Computer Based Test (CBT) (150 marks) followed by an Interview (30 marks).
- Group 'B' and 'C' Posts: Selection based solely on Online CBT (100 marks).
- Language: Questions will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Tie-Breaker Method: In case of identical CBT marks, tie-breakers will be applied in the following order: (a) Elder age, (b) Higher marks in the main subject (Sl No 1 of syllabus), (c) Higher marks in Sl.No.2 of syllabus, (d) Earlier essential degree/diploma/certificate completion date, (e) Higher final aggregate marks in degree/diploma/certificate.
- Interview Ratio (Group 'A'): Candidates shortlisted for interview in a ratio of 1:5 (1 vacancy), 1:4 (2 vacancies), 1:3 (3+ vacancies).
- Normalization: Normalization methodology for raw scores will be used if CBT is conducted in multiple shifts.
Indicative Scheme of Computer Based (Online) Test
- Research Officer (Homoeopathy) Group "A": All subjects of Graduation (BHMS/MD) as per CCH syllabus (90 Marks); Research methodology, Biostatistics, Bioethics, etc. (60 Marks). Total: 150 Marks.
- Research Officer (Endocrinology) Group "A": All subjects of M.Sc. (Zoology/M.Pharma (Pharmacology)) (90 Marks); Research methodology, Biostatistics, Bio-Ethics Drug/Diagnostics Development (60 Marks). Total: 150 Marks.
- Research Officer (Pathology) Group "A": All Subjects of Clinical pathology as per syllabus by NCI (90 Marks); Health Research Fundamentals, Biostatistics, Ethics & Good Laboratory Practices (60 Marks). Total: 150 Marks.
- Junior Librarian Group "B": Library & Information Science (Core) (60 Marks); English Language & Comprehension (25 Marks); Basic Computer & Information Technology General Intelligence/Awareness/Studies cataloging (15 Marks). Total: 100 Marks.
- Pharmacist Group "C": Fundamentals of Homoeopathy & Pharmacy (40 Marks); Applied Homoeopathy Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (Core) (50 Marks); General Knowledge, Reasoning, IT & Communications Skills (10 Marks). Total: 100 Marks.
- X-Ray Technician Group "C": Professional Knowledge (Radiography & X-Ray Techniques/Machines, Modern imaging technique, medical ethics related to radiology etc.) (60 Marks); General Awareness, General Intelligence/Reasoning & Numerical Aptitude (40 Marks). Total: 100 Marks.
- Lower Division Clerk Group "C": General English (25 Marks); General Intelligence (25 Marks); Numerical Aptitude (25 Marks); General Awareness (25 Marks). Total: 100 Marks.
- Driver Group "C": As per Staff Selection Commission Matric level examination syllabus (75 Marks); General Awareness, Aptitude and Test of Reasoning (25 Marks). Total: 100 Marks.
Note: The examination will comprise Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) only.
Duration of Online Computer Based Test
- For Group "A": 120 Minutes (150 Minutes for PwD).
- For Group "B" and "C" Posts: 90 Minutes (120 Minutes for PwD).
Cut-off Marks for Group 'A'
- General/OBC/EWS: 45%
- SC/ST/PH: 40%
3.10. Selection procedure for Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Selection will be based on online CBT (MCQs) and Typing Test.
- Skill (Typing) Test: Qualifying in nature. English 35 wpm or Hindi 30 wpm on computer (10 minutes, 30 minutes for Visually Handicapped). Performance in typing test not considered for final merit list.
4. Application Fee
- For Group “A” Posts
- Unreserved / OBC / EWS: Rs. 1000/-
- SC/ST/PwD / Female: Nil
- For Group “B” & “C” Posts
- Unreserved / OBC / EWS: Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/PwD / Female: Nil
- A convenience fee will be charged in addition to the application fee.
- Fee is inclusive of GST @ 18%. Bank charges plus GST may be extra.
- Application fee is accepted only through online Payment Gateway. Separate fee for each post if applying for more than one.
5. Mode of Payment
- Payments can be made via Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI. Ensure payment status changes to “Payment Received”.
6. Cities of Examination
Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted in test centers located at:
- Delhi
- Mumbai
- Chennai
- Kolkata
- Guwahati
CCRH reserves the right to cancel or add more cities.
7. How to Apply
- Candidates must apply online through CCRH websites: www.ccrhindia.ayush.gov.in, www.ccrhonline.in, or www.eapplynow.com.
- The online registration process involves three steps:
- Fill basic details (name, father's name, DOB, address, upload photo & signature) and generate Application ID.
- Apply for a post (provide specific information, category, academic details, experience).
- Make payment of application fees and/or generate Registration Slip.
- A valid personal e-mail ID and Mobile Number must be kept active.
- Carefully furnish correct details; no changes allowed after final submission.
8. General Instructions
- Eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age, experience) will be determined as of the closing date for receipt of applications.
- Vacancies/categories are subject to variation.
- Applications must be submitted ONLINE only; no hard copies or documents are to be sent.
- Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn, and fee once paid is non-refundable.
- CCRH reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process.
- Answer Keys will be published on the Council's website, with a 3-day window for objections (fee of Rs. 100/- per objection).
- Details submitted in the application will be verified with documents before the offer of appointment.
