The Railway Recruitment Board, Mumbai Central, has released the Final Result (Part-I) for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) under C.E.N. NO. 01/2024.
Selection Process
The selection process involved multiple stages:
- Computer Based Test -I: Held from 2024-11-25 to 2024-11-29.
- Computer Based Test -II: Held from 2025-03-19 to 2025-03-20 and from 2025-05-02 to 2025-05-06.
- Computer Based Aptitude Test: Held on 2025-07-15 and 2025-08-31.
- Document Verification (DV): Conducted from 2025-10-14 to 2025-11-17.
- Block Dates for DV: 2025-10-31 and 2025-11-20.
Candidates who were found medically fit for the Assistant Loco Pilot posts are provisionally recommended for appointment. The Roll Numbers of these candidates are provided in ascending order under their respective railway zones.

Western Railway
- Category No. 1: Roll numbers of 72 provisionally selected candidates are listed in the original notice.
South Central Railway
- Category No. 1: Roll numbers of 11 provisionally selected candidates are listed in the original notice.
Candidature Status
Withheld Candidature
The candidature of 39 Roll Numbers has been withheld.
Unfit in Required Medical Standard
66 Roll Numbers were found UNFIT in the required Medical standard. Communication regarding the Re-Medical appeal will be sent to the registered email address of these medically unfit candidates.
Cancelled Candidature
The candidature of 27 Roll Numbers has been cancelled as they were absent/absconded from the Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Further Information
- The remaining part of the result will be declared in due course. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the RRB website for updates.
- The category-wise and community-wise final cut-off will be published at the time of the final result.
Important Notes
- The selection panel is provisional and does not automatically confer a right to appointment unless the candidate fulfills all conditions, including production of original certificates, availability of vacancies, completion of administrative formalities, and matching application details (photograph, signature, handwriting).
- The offer of appointment will be made by the Principal Chief Personnel Officer (PCPO) of the respective Railway zone if the candidate is found otherwise suitable.

- This result is purely provisional. If any candidate is found to have been debarred by any Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), their candidature will be cancelled, and they will be liable for removal from service at any later stage.
