Document Verification Schedule for Assistant Loco Pilots against CEN 01/2024

This notice announces the schedule for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for candidates provisionally shortlisted for Assistant Loco Pilots against CEN 01/2024. The list of shortlisted candidates was previously published on the official website of RRB, Guwahati on 2025-10-01.

Document Verification Details

  • Reporting Location: Office of Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati, Panbazar, Station Road, Guwahati-781001.
  • DV Dates: Document Verification is scheduled from 2025-10-15 to 2025-10-17, and from 2025-10-21 to 2025-10-22. Specific dates and times (FN for 09:00 AM, AN for 13:30 PM) are assigned to individual candidates as detailed in the full notice.
  • E-Call Letter: SMS/E-mail alerts will be sent to candidates' registered mobile/email IDs for downloading their e-call letters from the official website of RRB, Guwahati.
  • Online Portal Requirement: Candidates must upload their signature, latest photograph, and identification marks on the portal https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. This portal will be active until the date of DV. Candidates are advised to read detailed instructions in the DV e-call letter.

Documents Required for Verification (Originals plus two sets of self-attested photocopies in A4 size)

  1. Matriculation / High School Examination certificate or equivalent Certificate (as proof of date of birth and matriculation qualification). Name verification against application details is crucial; affidavits may be required for spelling variations.
  2. 10+2/Inter/Higher Secondary/PUC/Equivalent Certificate (as applicable).
  3. A University degree or its equivalent.
  4. Other certificate/diploma as prescribed under minimum educational qualification in Annexure of detailed CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot).
  5. Educational Qualification Certificates (provisional or regular) showing the date of issue. If the issue date is after the online application closing date, a consolidated mark sheet or individual mark sheets of all semesters/years with the result declaration date must be submitted. A certificate from the Institution/University/Board indicating the result declaration date is required if not explicitly mentioned on mark sheets/certificates.
  6. SC/ST certificate in the format as per Annexure-I of CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot) (as applicable).
  7. Valid OBC-NCL certificate in the format as per Annexure-II of CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot), not older than one year from the date of DV.
  8. Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC candidates as per Annexure-IIA of CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot) (as applicable).
  9. Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) as per Annexure-III of CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot) (as applicable).
  10. Income certificate for waiving examination fees for Economically Backward classes as per Annexure-III A / BPL Card / Izzat MST of CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot) (as applicable).
  11. Original Discharge Certificate, Ex-Servicemen book, Identity card for Ex-Serviceman clearly mentioning the reason of discharge and other details.
  12. For Ex-Servicemen candidates who secured civil employment after applying for this CEN, a self-declaration to the concerned employer about application details (Annexure-VII) and the acknowledged copy along with NOC from the civil employer with probable discharge date must be produced.
  13. NOC with Date of Appointment from current employer in case of Serving Employees.
  14. Minority Community Declaration on Non-Judicial Stamp paper as per Annexure-V of CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot) (as applicable).
  15. Gazette Notification and/or any legal document in case of formal change of name as mentioned in para 1.8 of General Instructions of CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot).
  16. J&K Domicile Certificate (as applicable).
  17. Certificate of eligibility from Government of India as per para 4.0 (b) of CEN 01/2024 (Assistant Loco Pilot) on Nationality (for candidates other than citizens of India).
  18. Decree of Divorce / Judicial separation from the Competent Court of Law as applicable for divorcee/judicially separated women, with an affidavit stating no remarriage.
  19. Death certificate of spouse for widow candidates, with an affidavit stating no remarriage.
  20. Any other relevant certificate/testimonials/documents available with the candidate.

Additional Documents to Bring

  • Six passport size photographs, not older than three months.
  • Upper portion of the e-call letters of CBT.
  • Photocopy of both sides of Aadhar card.

Medical Examination

  • After completion of DV, candidates will be sent for medical examination at a nominated Railway Hospital under Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) jurisdiction on the next day.
  • Candidates must be prepared to stay for three to four days for the medical examination.
  • A prescribed medical fee of Rs 24/- must be paid. Additional charges may apply for investigations like CT Scan, Ultra Sound, or refractive eye surgery if not available at the Railway Hospital.

Important Instructions and Warnings

  • Candidature is purely provisional and liable to be cancelled at any stage due to inconsistencies, deficiencies, discrepancies, or malpractices.
  • Merely shortlisting or calling for DV/Medical examination does not entitle a candidate to appointment in the Railways.
  • RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes.
  • Beware of touts who may misguide candidates with false promises. The recruitment process is fully computerized and based on merit.
  • Failure to produce original certificates on the DV date will lead to rejection. Furnishing false information or suppressing details will result in disqualification and debarment.
  • Free Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates: Provided for attending DV. A separate free travel authority will be issued at RRB after DV for travelling to the medical examination location and returning home.
  • Failure to report for Document Verification on the scheduled date will lead to rejection of candidature unless supported by documentary evidence of a conflicting University/Government examination or sickness. No other reason for absence will be considered, and no fresh e-call letter will be issued.
