Introduction

It is hereby informed to the general public that, as per Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (197687) dated September 17, 2025, online application forms are invited through the Anganwadi Recruitment Portal http://upanganwadibharti.in for direct recruitment to vacant posts of Anganwadi Workers in Child Development Projects operating in urban/rural areas of Amroha district, based on an honorarium. This notice is issued by the District Program Officer, Child Development, Gonda.

Special Instructions Regarding Eligibility and Application

  1. Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi Worker will be Intermediate or equivalent. The maximum educational qualification will be based on Post-Graduation.
  2. Age Limit: The minimum age of the applicant for the post of Anganwadi Worker should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 35 years as of July 01, 2025. The date of birth mentioned in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid for age.
  3. Residency Preference (BPL): Preference will be given to widowed women / legally divorced / abandoned women from families living below the poverty line (BPL) who are residents of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
  4. Documents for Widows/Divorced: For widows: Death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer / concerned Municipal Body and certified copy of family register will be valid. For divorced/abandoned women: Legal orders issued by the Hon'ble High Court will be valid.
  5. Residency Preference (Above BPL): If no widowed / divorced / abandoned women from BPL families are found, then preference will be given to widowed / divorced / abandoned women from families living above the poverty line (APL) who are residents of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
  6. Residency Preference (General, BPL): If no candidates from the above categories (BPL) are found, then preference will be given to women from families living below the poverty line (BPL) who are residents of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
  7. Residency Preference (General, Above BPL): If no candidates from the above categories (BPL) are found, then preference will be given to women from families living above the poverty line (APL) who are residents of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
  8. Caste/Domicile Certificates: Domicile and caste certificates issued by the Tehsil with online digital signatures will be valid, provided they can be verified online.
  9. Income Certificate: Regarding income certificates, only income certificates issued by the competent authority in accordance with Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-10-9 dated 30.09.2021 (as amended) of Revenue Section-9 of Uttar Pradesh Government will be valid, provided they can be verified online.
  10. Application Process: Application forms must be filled online carefully and accurately on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in. Self-attested copies of documents, which are clean and legible, must be uploaded as specified in the online form.
  11. Detailed Vacancy Information: A detailed description of vacant posts can be viewed on the notice board of the District Magistrate / Chief Development Officer / District Program Officer / Block Development Officer / Child Development Project Officer and on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in.
