This advisory from the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) informs candidates about fraudulent practices observed during the Computer Based Tests (CBTs) for Level-1 recruitment against CEN No. 08/2024, which commenced on November 27, 2025.Warning Against Fraudulent ChitsIt has come to the notice of RRBs that certain external miscreants are misleading and deceiving candidates by providing 'dummy chits' that allegedly contain numerals or alphabets corresponding to answers of the expected question paper. Candidates found using such chits have been detected and apprehended during examinations.Irrelevance of Fraudulent ChitsCandidates are hereby informed that these fraudulent chits have absolutely no relevance to the actual question paper. This is because:Questions and their answer options are uniquely and randomly shuffled for every individual candidate. Therefore, these so-called 'answer chits' provide no advantage whatsoever and are entirely fraudulent.Examination Security MeasuresThe RRBs' digital system for generating, storing, transmitting, and administering question papers is highly secure and protected with 256-bit encryption. All examinations are conducted in a highly secure, CCTV-monitored environment.Consequences of MalpracticeCandidates found in possession of chits or indulging in any form of malpractice will face severe penalties, including:Lifetime debarment from Railway recruitment.Legal action, including the lodging of a First Information Report (FIR) at a police station.Candidate AdvisoryCandidates are strongly advised to:Refrain from engaging in any such fraudulent activities. Not fall prey to miscreants attempting to exploit or deceive them.Important WarningBEWARE OF TOUTS, BROKERS AND JOB RACKETEERS AND REPORT SUCH CASES TO THE NEAREST POLICE STATION.
