General Instructions for Applicants Applicants will be allowed to appear for the Written Test based solely on the details provided in their application. Candidates who qualify in the Written Test and are shortlisted for Skill Test/Interview must produce their original certificates/documents for verification. Failure to do so will result in immediate cancellation of their candidature. ### 7. Selection Process #### 7.1 Selection Process for Scientist/Engineer 'SC' Mode of Selection: The selection process will involve a Written Test and an Interview. The Written Test is designed to assess both the breadth and depth of the candidate's theoretical and practical knowledge of the prescribed curriculum. Shortlisting: Based on Written Test performance, candidates will be shortlisted for the Interview, generally in a 1:5 ratio with a minimum of 10 candidates per category-wise number of vacancies. Weightage for Selection: 50% weightage will be given to Written Test marks and 50% weightage to Interview marks. In case of a tie in scores, the academic score of the essential qualification will be the first tie-breaker. The second tie-breaker, if needed, will be the age of the candidate (older candidate will be placed ahead). #### 7.2 Selection Process for Technical Assistant/Scientific Assistant/Library Assistant 'A'/ Technician –B/ Draughtsman-B Mode of Selection: The selection will consist of a Written Test and a Skill Test. The Written Test will be conducted to assess the candidate's in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge within the prescribed curriculum. Shortlisting for Skill Test: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test based on their performance in the Written Test, in a 1:5 ratio category-wise, with a minimum of 10 candidates. Candidates will be called in batches for the Skill Test according to evaluation results versus vacancies. Empanelment: Empanelment will be based on the marks obtained in the Written Test, subject to the number of vacancies notified. In case of a tie in Written Test scores, the academic scores of the essential qualification (Post-graduation/Graduation/Diploma, SSC/SSLC, ITI/NTC/NAC, as applicable) will be the first tie-breaker. The second tie-breaker, if needed, will be the age of the candidate (senior candidate will be placed ahead). #### 7.3 Selection Process for Nurse 'B', Radiographer-A & Cook Mode of Selection: The selection will consist of a Written Test and a Skill Test. The Written Test aims to assess the candidate's in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of the prescribed curriculum. Skill Test: The Skill Test will be purely 'go-no-go' in nature, and marks obtained in the Skill Test will not be considered for final selection. Final Selection: Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Written Test, among candidates who have qualified the Skill Test, subject to the number of vacancies notified.
