This corrigendum pertains to CEN No. 05/2025 for the recruitment of various posts of Junior Engineer/Depot Material Superintendent/Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant.

Vacancy Enhancement

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has published this corrigendum to announce the enhancement of notified vacancies for CEN No. 05/2025. The vacancies for RCF, Kapurthala (under the jurisdiction of RRB/Jammu-Srinagar) and ICF, Chennai (under the jurisdiction of RRB/Chennai) have been modified as per Modified Annexure-B.

All other terms and conditions of CEN No. 05/2025 will remain unchanged.

Modification Option for Candidates

  • Candidates who have already applied can modify their option of chosen RRB and their preference of post, Zonal Railway(s)/Production Unit within the opted RRB without any modification fees.
  • Applicants are advised to use their login credentials to make these modifications.
  • The modification window will be activated from 25.11.2025 and will remain open till the closing date of submission of the online application.

Extension of Application Closing Date

The closing date for submission of online applications has been extended by 10 days to 10.12.2025 (23:59 hrs).

Timelines for Online Submission of Application and Modification Window

  • Closing date for Submission of Online Application: 10.12.2025 (23:59 hours)
  • Last Date for Application fee payment for submitted applications: 12.12.2025
  • Dates for Modification window for corrections in application form with payment of modification fee: 13.12.2025 to 22.12.2025
    • Note: Details filled in 'Create an Account' form and 'Chosen RRB' cannot be modified.
  • Dates during which eligible scribe candidates must provide their scribe details in the application portal: 23.12.2025 to 27.12.2025
