DV Notice: Schedule For Document Verification And Medical Examination For ALP (CEN No. 01/2024)

Overview

This notice announces the schedule for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME) for candidates shortlisted under CEN No. 01/2024 (ALP), Round-II.

Document Verification Details

  • Date and Time: 24-11-2025 at 09:30 Hrs.
  • Venue: Office of the Railway Recruitment Board, Railway Station Road, Gorakhpur-273012 (UP).
  • Shortlisted Candidates: A total of 16 candidates are listed for this round of DV.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  1. E-Call Letter: Candidates must bring their e-call letter for document verification, which can be downloaded from the official website of RRB Gorakhpur (www.rrbgkp.gov.in). It must be produced at the entry of the DV venue.
  2. Required Documents: Candidates are advised to read the list of original documents given on the back side/2nd page of the e-call letter. They must bring all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies of all documents.
  3. Language of Certificates: If certificates are not in English/Hindi, a self-attested translated version (in Hindi/English) must be produced.
  4. Identity Proof: Bring one original valid and current Photo ID proof and Address ID proof as presented during the CBTs.
  5. Photographs: Candidates must bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs, not more than one month old, for DV and Medical Examination.
  6. CBT-1 Foil: Candidate's foil of e-call letter for CBT-1 is also required.
  7. No Mobile Phones: Mobile phones are strictly not permitted during DV or Medical Examination.
  8. Medical Examination: The Medical Test will be conducted after Document Verification. A fee of Rs. 24/- is payable towards the medical examination. The date and place for ME will be intimated at the time of DV. An admit card for the medical test will be issued then. Candidates should be prepared to stay for more than 4 days for the DV/Medical examination at their own cost.
  9. No Valuables: Candidates should not bring belongings to Railway Hospitals as there is no facility to keep them. They should only carry the Medical Test Admit card, one original valid & current Photo ID, and Address ID proof. No fees will be charged at the Hospital for medical examination, so carrying cash is not advised.

Block Date for Absentee Candidates

  • Date: 05-12-2025 at 10:00 Hrs.
  • Conditions: This is a second and final chance for candidates who fail to report for DV on their regular assigned dates due to valid reasons such as appearing in a University/Government examination or sickness. No other reason for absence will be considered.
  • Note: No fresh e-call letter will be sent for the block date; candidates must attend with the same e-call letter uploaded for the regular DV.
  • Consequence of Failure: Failure to report on the scheduled date (including the block date) will result in rejection of candidature unless supported by documentary evidence.
