Overview

This notice announces the result of the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and provides information regarding the Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for candidates provisionally shortlisted for CEN 01/2024 ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) by Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB), Muzaffarpur.

CBAT Result Details

  • Availability: The Test Battery-wise T-Score, Composite T-score, Score out of 30 (30% weightage for ALP Merit), and the qualifying status of candidates who appeared in the CBAT (conducted on 2025-07-15 & 2025-08-31) can be viewed by logging in through the link on official RRB websites using Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  • Score Card Live Period: The CBAT score card will be live from 19:00 hrs on 2025-10-01 for 15 days.
  • Qualifying Criteria: Candidates must secure a minimum T-Score of 42 in each Test Battery.
  • Methodology: For details on the methodology for calculating T-Scores, candidates may visit the RDSO website (www.rdso.indianrailways.gov.in > Directorates > Psycho-Technical) and refer to question number 5 of the FAQ.

Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination

  • Shortlisting: Candidates bearing the Roll Numbers listed in the original notice (in ascending order and not merit-wise) have been provisionally shortlisted for DV & Medical Examination.
  • DV Venue: Document Verification will be held at the place indicated in the e-call letter.
  • E-Call Letters: After scheduling, candidates will receive an Email/SMS/Website notification to download their E-Call letter, which will include details of the date, reporting time, and instructions for DV and Medical Examination.
  • Medical Examination: Post-DV completion, candidates will be sent for Medical Examination on the next day at nominated Railway Hospitals located within the RRBs' jurisdiction. This process will involve travel and candidates should be prepared for 3-4 days for DV & Medical Examination.

Required Documents for DV

  • Candidates must produce original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies in A4 size, as detailed in the CEN and e-call letters.
  • Scanned copies (in true colour) of all necessary documents, photo, and signature must be uploaded through the portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv. This link will be active as per the DV Notice issued separately.
  • Certificates produced and uploaded during DV must be in the prescribed format, either in English or Hindi.

Important Instructions & Warnings

  • Rectification Right: RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes in the CBAT result or the shortlisted list. No correspondence regarding results or from unsuccessful candidates will be entertained.
  • Candidature Status: Candidature is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment (or thereafter) if any inconsistency/deficiency in data, malpractice, or other issues come to RRB's notice. Merely being called for DV does not entitle a candidate to appointment in the Railways.
  • Beware of Touts: Candidates are warned against touts making false promises of selection for illegal consideration. The recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based purely on merit.
