Introduction

The Office of the District Program Officer, Badaun, invites online applications for the direct recruitment of Anganwadi Workers on an honorarium basis for various child development projects in urban and rural areas of Badaun district. Note: The number of vacancies is subject to change. Reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Scheduled Castes (SC) is applicable as per rules. There is no reservation for EWS, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), or dependents of freedom fighters. Eligibility Criteria and Special Instructions

  1. Eligibility: Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
  2. Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification is Intermediate (12th grade) or its equivalent. The merit list will be prepared based on marks up to Post Graduation.
  3. Application Mode: Only online applications will be accepted. Offline applications will be rejected.
  4. Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 35 years as of 01.07.2025. The date of birth mentioned in the High School mark sheet/certificate will be considered valid.
  5. Residency: The applicant must be a resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (for urban areas) for which they are applying.
  6. Preference: Preference will be given to widow, legally divorced, or abandoned women from families living below the poverty line (BPL).
    • If a suitable candidate from the above category is not available, preference will be given to a widow, legally divorced, or abandoned woman from a family living above the poverty line in the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
    • If still no suitable candidate is found, other women from BPL families in the area will be considered.
  7. Required Documents:
    • Widow: Death certificate of the husband issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned urban body and a certified copy of the family register.
    • Divorced/Abandoned: A valid legal order issued by the Hon'ble High Court.
    • Residence and Caste Certificate: Digitally signed certificates issued by the Tehsil, which can be verified online.
    • Income Certificate: The annual income limit for rural areas is ₹46,080 and for urban areas is ₹56,460, as per G.O. No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated 14.09.2015. A digitally signed income certificate from the Tehsil is required.
  8. Application Process: Candidates must fill the online application form carefully on the website https://upanganwadibharti.in. Self-attested, clean, and legible copies of all required documents must be uploaded. The applicant will be solely responsible for any errors or discrepancies in the application.
  9. Family Member Rule: Not more than one woman from the same family can be appointed as an Anganwadi Worker/Helper at the same center.
