State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on a regular basis. Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for various Deputy Manager posts.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 31.01.2026)

1. Deputy Manager - IT Security Expert

  • Basic Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, Electronics & Communications or equivalent with minimum 50% score, or MCA.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Cyber Security/IT Domain. Experience in Cyber Defence operations (Threat Intel), Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Forensics, Threat Hunting is preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications: OSCP, CEH, CHFI, GIFR, GIACC, GFSU.

2. Deputy Manager - Emerging Technology

  • Basic Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, Electronics & Communications or equivalent with minimum 50% score, or MCA.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Cybersecurity/Technology Innovation domain. Hands-on experience in cyber innovation labs, product evaluation, prototyping, or applied cybersecurity solutioning is preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications: Equivalent certifications in Innovation, Product Development, Web development etc in cyber security. Java developer, mobile developer, Python developer, Web developer.

3. Deputy Manager - Cyber Security Analyst

  • Basic Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, Electronics & Communications or equivalent with minimum 50% score, or MCA.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Cyber Security/IT Domain. Experience in offensive security, focusing on Ethical Hacking, red teaming and penetration testing is preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications: OSCP, OSCE, CRTE, CRTP, CEH, CISSP, OSEP, CCSP, SANS.

4. Deputy Manager - Incident Management & Forensics

  • Basic Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, Electronics & Communications or equivalent with minimum 50% score, or MCA.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Cyber Security/IT Domain. Experience in Incident Response, forensic and malware Analysis is preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications: CHFI, EnCE, ACE, GCIH, CISSP, GCFA, CEH, OSCP, OCEP.

5. Deputy Manager - Test Engineers

  • Basic Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, Electronics & Communications or equivalent with minimum 50% score, or MCA.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in Cyber Security/IT Domain. Experience testing hardware/software, designing and executing test plans, and creating automated tests is preferred.
  • Preferred Certifications: ISTQB, STQC STANDARD MAPPING, CTFL, CSTE, CAST, CISSP, CISM.

Remuneration

  • Grade: MMGS-II
  • Scale of Pay: Basic: ₹64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960. The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, etc., as per rules in force.

Selection Process

  • Shortlisting: The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. The shortlisting committee will decide the parameters for shortlisting.
  • Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
  • Merit List: A merit list will be prepared in descending order based on scores obtained in the interview only.

  • SC/ST/PwBD candidates: No fee
