This is a corrigendum issued in continuation of the recruitment notification dated 31.12.2025 for inviting online applications for direct recruitment to the posts of Constable Civil Police and equivalent posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police - 2025.
In accordance with Government Order No. 1/1194447/6-1001(008)/24/2023, dated 05.01.2026, and as a one-time exception, a relaxation of 03 years in the upper age limit has been granted to candidates of all categories for the recruitment of a total of 32,679 vacant posts. The posts include Constable Civil Police (Male/Female), Constable PAC/Armed Police (Male), Constable Special Security Force (Male), Female Constable for Women Battalion, Constable Horse Rider Police (Male), Jail Warder (Male), and Jail Warder (Female).
This decision has been made under Rule-3 of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service (Relaxation of Age Limit for Recruitment) Rules, 1992, as per notification No. 11/3/1991-Ka-2-92, dated 23.07.1992.
The revised age limits and relaxation for different categories are as follows:

Accordingly, the Board's advertisement dated 31.12.2025 should be considered amended to the extent of the above age limits.
