Provisional Result for Level-5 Posts (Goods Guard)
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Gorakhpur has released the Provisional Part Panel-1 for the post of Goods Guard (Level-5, Category-3, NER) under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No.01/2019 NTPC.
Basis of Selection
Candidates have been provisionally shortlisted based on their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT-1), CBT-2, and Document Verification cum Medical Examination conducted from February 6, 2023, to February 13, 2023, and on February 16, 2023, for absentee candidates. The selection is based on their merit, community, and post preference.
Important Information for Candidates
- The roll numbers of shortlisted candidates are arranged in ascending order and not in order of merit.
- The results of some candidates have been withheld due to pending shortcomings in their submitted documents, biometric verification, or medical fitness reports.
- In case of a tie in marks, the merit position is determined by age (older candidates are placed higher). If the age is also the same, alphabetical order (A to Z) of names is used to break the tie.
- Candidature is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation if any inconsistencies or malpractices are found at any stage of the recruitment process. Merely being placed on this panel does not guarantee an appointment.
- RRB Gorakhpur reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes.
- The list of candidates will be forwarded to the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur. Further action on appointment will be taken by the N.E. Railway after due verification of eligibility criteria, including original certificates for educational/technical qualifications, date of birth, caste, character, etc.
- Candidates will be required to submit an affidavit confirming the genuineness of their Degree/Diploma and Caste certificates.
