Introduction
This notice is for candidates shortlisted for the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for the recruitment of various Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate) posts under CEN 06/2024, based on their performance in the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II).
Important Dates
- 2nd Stage CBT-II Held on: 20th December, 2025
- CBT-II Results Declared on: 23.01.2026
- Tentative CBTST Date: 13.02.2026
- Last Date for Typing Language Selection: 03.02.2026 (up to 7:00 PM)
- PwBD Exemption Certificate Upload Window: 29.01.2026 to 11.02.2026 (up to 7:00 PM)
Exam Details and E-Call Letter
- The link for viewing the Exam City & Date and for downloading Travelling Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made available on RRB websites 10 days prior to the exam.
- Downloading of E-Call letters will begin 4 days prior to the exam date.
Typing Language Selection
Candidates must exercise their option for the typing language (English or Hindi) through the official RRB website.
- If a candidate does not choose a language, the default language for the typing test will be ENGLISH.
- Candidates opting for Hindi must be familiar with Krutidev or Mangal font.
- The language option, once exercised, cannot be changed.
Procedure for Language Selection:

- Login to the portal using your credentials.
- Click on the "Language for CBTST" tab.
- Select the Plus (+) icon to expand the options.
- Select your language preference (English/Hindi).
- Click "Submit" to confirm and save your selection.
Instructions for PwBD Candidates
Shortlisted PwBD candidates who are permanently disabled (due to Blindness/Low Vision, Cerebral Palsy, and Locomotor Disability with not less than 40% permanent disability) may be exempted from the CBTST.
To avail exemption, candidates must upload a scanned copy of the Typing Skill Test exemption certificate, issued by a Competent Medical Board in the format prescribed in Annexure V(E) of CEN 06/2024.
Procedure for Uploading Exemption Certificate:
Candidates unable to upload the certificate may report to the allotted CBTST venue with the original certificate. The same original certificate must also be produced during Document Verification.
General Instructions
- Aadhaar-linked Biometric authentication will be conducted at the exam center. Candidates must bring their original Aadhaar card.
- Candidates should rely only on official RRB websites for updates and not be misled by unauthenticated sources.
- Beware of touts with fake promises of appointment. RRB selections are based purely on merit in the Computer Based Tests (CBT).
