This notice is to inform the general public that applications are invited only from female candidates for the vacant Anganwadi Worker positions in the urban/rural areas of Deoria district, under the Child Development Project, as per Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/68-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025. Additionally, interested applicants can obtain vacancy-related information from the concerned Child Development Project Office or the District Program Office during working days.
Special Instructions for Eligibility and Application Submission
- Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
- The entire selection process will be conducted as per the procedure outlined in Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/68-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025, issued by the Department of Child Development and Nutrition, Uttar Pradesh. This Government Order can be obtained from the official website of the Uttar Pradesh government.
- The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Worker is Intermediate or equivalent.
- The minimum age limit for Anganwadi Worker is 18 years, and the maximum is 35 years, as on 01 July 2025. The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid.
- For the vacant Anganwadi Worker positions, it is mandatory for the applicant to be a resident of the same Gram Sabha or urban ward for which they are applying.
- For widowed candidates, an attested copy of the husband's death certificate and family register issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay will be valid.
- For divorced/abandoned candidates, a legal order issued by a competent court will be valid.
- Income certificates issued by a competent authority as per Uttar Pradesh Government Revenue Section-9, Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-राज-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended), will be valid if verifiable online.
- Residence and caste certificates issued online with digital signatures by the Tehsil will be valid if verifiable online.
- If there are multiple eligible candidates in the same category, a merit list will be prepared for all candidates. The merit list for Anganwadi Workers will be based on academic qualifications, from Intermediate/equivalent up to Post-Graduation.
- The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate will be divided by 10 to calculate their score (e.g., 45% in Intermediate will be 4.5 marks, 59% will be 5.9 marks).
- Marks obtained under grading and CGPA systems will also be calculated similarly. The merit list will be calculated up to three decimal places; no rounding up will be done.
- Application forms must be filled online carefully and correctly on the departmental website. Self-attested, clean, and readable copies of documents mentioned in the online form must be uploaded.
- No offline or postal applications/documents will be accepted.
- If any error, discrepancy, false information, incorrect marks/percentages, or forged educational documents are found in the application, the candidature will be cancelled.
Important Dates and General Information
- The last date for online application for the advertised posts is 30.11.2025, until midnight (12:00 AM).
- The entire selection process for the above posts will be conducted online as per the guidelines mentioned in the Government Order. No written examination or interview will be conducted.

- Online verification of certificate numbers, academic marks, income, caste, and residence certificates will be done through the portal. Any incorrect entry will lead to automatic cancellation of candidature, for which the applicant will be solely responsible.
- The selection of Anganwadi Workers and Sahayikas will be based on online applications received through the departmental portal, following the merit process and preferences outlined in the Government Orders.
