RRB Gorakhpur NTPC Level-5 Document Verification and Medical Examination Schedule 2023

DV Notice for CEN No. 01/2019 (NTPC)

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Gorakhpur has released the schedule for Document Verification (DV) & Genuineness of candidature and Medical Examination for candidates shortlisted for Level-5 posts (Category – 3, 4, 5 & 6) under CEN No. 01/2019 (NTPC).

Schedule of Document Verification:

  • Dates: From 06-02-2023 to 13-02-2023
  • Venue: Office of the Railway Recruitment Board, Railway Station Road, Gorakhpur-273012 (UP).

Candidates are advised to check the official notice for their specific date and time slot based on their roll number.

Instructions for Candidates

  1. E-Call Letter: Candidates must bring the e-call letter for document verification, which can be downloaded from the official RRB Gorakhpur website (www.rrbgkp.gov.in). The e-call letter must be produced at the entry of the DV venue.
  2. Required Documents: Candidates must produce all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies. The detailed list of documents is provided in the e-call letter. Certificates not in English/Hindi must be accompanied by a self-attested translated version.
  3. Identification: Bring one original, valid, and current photo ID proof that was presented during the CBTs.
  4. Photographs: Candidates must bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs, not more than one month old.
  5. CBT E-Call Letter Foil: Candidates must also bring the candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT-1, CBT-2 & CBTST.

Medical Examination

  • Following the Document Verification, candidates are required to attend a Medical Test.
  • A fee of Rs. 24/- for the medical examination must be paid at the DV venue.
  • The date and place of the Medical Examination will be communicated at the time of the DV.
  • Candidates should be prepared for a stay of more than four days for the DV/Medical examination at their own cost.
  • No fees will be charged at the hospital for the medical examination.

Block Date for Absentees

  • A final opportunity is provided for candidates who fail to attend the DV on their scheduled date for valid reasons (e.g., University/Government examination or sickness, with documentary proof).
  • Block Date: 16-02-2023 at 10:00 hrs at the office of RRB Gorakhpur.
  • No separate e-call letter will be issued for the block date; candidates can attend with their original e-call letter.

Important Information

  • Mobile phones are not permitted during the Document Verification or Medical Examination.
  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official RRB website for any updates.
  • Beware of touts who may make false promises of selection. The recruitment process is fully computerized and based on merit.
