IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the list of candidates shortlisted for the interview for the recruitment to 04 vacancies of Assistant Director Grade-II (IEDS) (Food) in the Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Essential Qualification

  • EDUCATIONAL: Bachelor of Technology in Food Technology OR Post Graduate Diploma in Fruits Technology from a recognized University or Institute.

Documents Required for Scrutiny

The following documents are required from the candidates:

  1. Matriculation/Higher Secondary Certificate/Marksheet showing date of birth.
  2. Caste certificate in the prescribed format (for OBC candidates). The OBC candidates have been considered Eligible subject to the undertaking which will be collected at the time of interview.
  3. Degree/Provisional certificate along with mark sheets of all academic years/final year as per the Essential Qualification.
  4. Certificate of Govt. Servant in case the candidate has claimed age relaxation for Govt. Servant.
  5. An Affidavit regarding any difference in either Name/Father's Name or spelling of Name/Father's Name in documents/certificate and the Online Recruitment Application (ORA).

Shortlisted Candidates

A total of 28 candidates have been shortlisted for the interview.

Rejected Candidates

Two candidates were not shortlisted for the interview due to not meeting the essential qualifications (LEQ). The reasons for rejection are:

  • Candidate with B.Sc. (Hons.) in Food Technology - Not a relevant degree for the post.
  • Candidate with B.Tech. in Bio Technology - Not a relevant degree for the post.
