Introduction

Yantra India Limited (YIL), under the Skill India Mission of the Government of India, invites online applications from Indian citizens for the engagement of Trade Apprentices (Ex-ITI & Non-ITI candidates) for the 59th Batch. The training will be imparted in the Indian Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories located across different states in India.

Vacancy Details

  • Total Vacancies: Approximately 3979
  • Ex-ITI Vacancies: 2843
  • Non-ITI Vacancies: 1136

Important Dates

  • Start date for online application submission: 2026-02-01
  • Closing date for online application submission: 2026-03-03 (until 23:59 Hours)

Essential Qualification (as on 03-03-2026)

  • For Non-ITI Category: Candidates should have passed Madhyamik (Class X std or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science.
  • For ITI Category:
    1. Should have passed the relevant trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT with a minimum of 50% marks in the ITI examination.
    2. Should also have passed Madhyamik (Class X std or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks.

Note: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination or awaiting results are not eligible.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 14 years (18 years for designated hazardous trades).
  • Maximum Age: 35 years for all categories.

Stipend

  • Non-ITI (Matriculation/Xth Class Candidate): ₹ 8,200 per month
  • Ex-ITI (ITI Pass Candidate): ₹ 9,600 per month

Mode of Selection

Selection will be based on merit. The merit list will be prepared separately for Non-ITI and Ex-ITI categories.

  • Non-ITI: Based on the overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik (Class X). A factory-wise common merit list will be prepared.
  • Ex-ITI: Based on the simple average of the percentage of marks in both Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% aggregate in each). The merit list will be prepared factory-wise and trade-wise.

Application Fee

  • UR & OBC Candidates: ₹ 200/- plus GST (Non-refundable)
  • SC/ST/Women/PWD/Transgender Candidates: ₹ 100/- plus GST (Non-refundable)

How to Apply

  1. Applications must be submitted online ONLY through the official website: https://recruit-gov.com.
  2. Candidates who have previously applied through www.apprenticeship.gov.in must re-apply on the new portal.
  3. Candidates must be ready with scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and other required documents (Aadhaar Card, SSC Marksheet, ITI Certificate, Caste Certificate, etc.) before filling out the application.
  4. Only one application per candidate will be accepted. Multiple applications will be summarily rejected.
