Introduction
Online applications are invited by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh for 41 posts of Data Processing Assistant. The recruitment process and conditions of service will be governed by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh Services (Recruitment, General Conditions of Services, Conduct, Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 2017.

Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 18-35 years as on 01.01.2025.
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Computer Science/ BCA/ B.Sc. IT/ or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in graduation.
- Technical Qualification/Experience: 3 years of working experience in data entry with working knowledge of Operating Systems and Office applications suites, along with the required educational qualification.
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
- Marital Status: No candidate with more than one spouse living shall be eligible.
- Children Norm: Candidates with more than two children on or after 26-01-2001 are generally not eligible (refer to Rule 6(6) of the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (General Conditions of Services) Rules, 1961 for exceptions).
- Medical Fitness: Must be certified as medically fit by the District Medical Board.
- Other Disqualifications: Candidates will be disqualified if they have been dismissed from government service, debarred by PSC/Court, convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude, or are associated with unlawful bodies.
Application Procedure
Candidates must apply online through the official website of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh: www.mphc.gov.in.
- Click on the “Recruitment/Result” tab.
- Click on “Online Application Form/Admit Card” for “Data Processing Assistant Exam-2025”.
- Read the Advertisement and Instructions carefully.
- Complete the registration process to obtain User ID and Password.
- Fill in the application form accurately, upload photo and signature.
- Preview the form, submit, and pay the examination fee.
- Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
- Only online applications will be accepted.
- Incomplete or incorrect applications will be cancelled.
- Corrections/alterations are permissible only within the specified correction dates.

- Unreserved Category: ₹ 943.40/-
- Includes ₹ 743.40 (Service Provider Charge: ₹ 630 + 18% GST) + ₹ 200 (Examination Fees).

Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of three stages:
- Online Preliminary Screening Examination
- Practical Examination
- Interview
The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the Practical Examination and Interview, subject to securing prescribed minimum marks.
I. Online Preliminary Screening Examination
- Date, Time, Shifts and Centres: To be notified later on the High Court website.
- Pattern: 100 multiple-choice objective type questions.
- Duration: 2 hours (120 Minutes).
- Total Marks: 100.
- Language: English.

Objections & Finalization of Model Answers
- Model Answer Keys will be uploaded post-examination.
- Objections must be submitted in writing by post or hand only to the Principal Registrar (Exam), High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur, within 7 days of uploading the keys. Objections must include self-attested copies of source documents/proof.
Result of Online Preliminary Screening Exam
- Qualifying Marks:
- Unreserved & OBC: Minimum 60% marks.
- SC & ST: Minimum 55% marks.
- Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio for the Practical and Interview stages.
II. Practical Examination
- Application & Documents: Candidates declared successful in the Preliminary Exam must submit an application form (proforma available on the website) with self-attested copies of relevant documents and two photographs to the Examination Section, Administrative Block, High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur.
- Venue, Date & Time: To be held at the premises of High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur. Date and time will be published on the website.
- Syllabus: Same as the Preliminary Examination.
- Maximum Marks: 30.
III. Interview
- Maximum Marks: 30.
- Venue, Date & Time: To be conducted at the premises of High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur. Date and time will be notified on the website.
Final Result
- Merit-cum-Category wise lists will be prepared based on marks obtained in the Practical Examination & Interview.
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate of Practical Examination & Interview.
- Results will be published on the website of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
- In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
Waiting List
A waiting list for each post will be valid from the date of publication of the final result, as per circular no.-F6-07/2012/one(1) Bhopal, dated-14.07.2016.
Rechecking/Revaluation
There is no provision for rechecking or revaluation of marks/answer sheets at any stage of the examination.
Marks of Candidates
Preliminary exam marks, response sheets, and Practical/Interview scores will be available on the High Court website after the declaration of final results. Candidates can check their scores using their User ID and Password.
Other Instructions
- No travelling expenses or allowances will be paid for appearing in any stage of the examination.
- Any corrigendum or modification will be published on the official website of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
- Copies of response sheets can be applied for under the R.T.I. Act after the final result declaration and within 6 months.
- Examination materials will be disposed of after 6 months from the date of final result, unless a court case is pending.
