Introduction
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Guwahati has released the schedule for the 4th round of Document Verification (DV) for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Level 2, against Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) 01/2024. One candidate has been provisionally shortlisted for this round.
Schedule and Venue
Candidates are advised to report to the office of the Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati, Panbazar, Station Road, Guwahati-781001, as per the schedule below:
- Document Verification Date: 23-03-2026
- Session: Forenoon (FN)
- Reporting Time: 09:30 AM
- Block Date for Absentees: 02-04-2026 (09:30 AM)
Important Instructions for Candidates
- E-Call Letter: SMS and E-mail alerts are being sent to registered mobile numbers and email IDs for downloading the e-call letter from the official RRB Guwahati website.
- Online Portal: Candidates must upload their signature, latest photograph, and identification marks on the portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. This portal will be active up to the date of the DV.
- Medical Examination: Following the DV, candidates will be sent for a medical examination at a nominated Railway Hospital under the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) on the next day. Candidates must pay a medical fee of ₹24 and should be prepared for a stay of three to four days.
- Provisional Candidature: The shortlisting is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage if any inconsistency or malpractice is detected.
Documents Required for Verification
Candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of clear, self-attested photocopies in A4 size. The required documents include:
- Matriculation / High School Examination certificate (as proof of date of birth).
- 10+2 / Inter / Higher Secondary / PUC / Equivalent Certificate (as applicable).
- University degree or its equivalent.
- Other prescribed educational qualification certificates/diplomas as per CEN 01/2024.
- SC/ST certificate in the format as per Annexure-I.
- Valid OBC-NCL certificate (not older than one year from the date of DV) and non-creamy layer declaration as per Annexure-II & IIA.
- Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) as per Annexure-III.
- Income certificate for waiving examination fees for Economically Backward Classes.
- Original Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen.
- NOC from the current employer for serving employees.
- Minority Community Declaration on Non-Judicial Stamp paper.
- Any other relevant documents such as J&K Domicile Certificate, Decree of Divorce, Death Certificate of spouse, etc.
Additional Items to Bring
- Six passport-size photographs (not older than three months).
- The upper portion of the e-call letters for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- A photocopy of both sides of the Aadhaar card.
Note on Absence
Failure to report for the DV on the scheduled date will lead to the rejection of candidature unless supported by documentary evidence of appearing in a University/Government examination or due to sickness. No other reason for absence will be considered.
