Result of 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) and Shortlisting for 2nd Stage CBT (CEN No. 06/2024 Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under-Graduate))

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Chandigarh, has released the result of the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) and the provisional shortlist of candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under-Graduate) posts against CEN No. 06/2024.

Examination Details

  • 1st Stage CBT-I Dates: The examination was conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards from August 07, 2025, to September 09, 2025.

Shortlisting for 2nd Stage CBT

  • Candidates whose Roll Numbers are listed in the original notice have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the 2nd Stage CBT.
  • Shortlisting is based on the merit achieved in the 1st Stage CBT, considering candidates' preferences for various posts.
  • Candidates who have availed reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM) for shortlisting will continue to be considered under their respective reserved categories in all subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

Subsequent Stages

  • Further shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the performance in the 2nd Stage CBT and, where applicable, on the performance in both 2nd Stage CBT and CBTST.
  • The 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for the provisionally shortlisted candidates will be held soon, and the exact date will be notified in due course.

Viewing Individual Results/Scorecard

  • Candidates can view their individual results and scorecards by logging into the RRB portal using their Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  • This facility will be available from November 21, 2025, 05:00 PM onwards.
  • Upon logging in, candidates can also view their question paper along with the correct answers.

Important Information

  • The candidature of all qualified candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency, deficiency in data, or malpractice is observed.
  • Mere shortlisting for the 2nd Stage CBT does not guarantee appointment in the Railways.
  • While utmost care has been taken in preparing the list, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical mistakes. No correspondence from unsuccessful candidates will be entertained.
  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website of RRBs for updates and information.
  • The Roll Numbers of the provisionally qualified candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT are arranged horizontally in ascending order, not in order of merit, in the original notice.
  • Warning: Candidates are advised to beware of touts making false promises of selection. The recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is strictly based on merit.
