Recruitment Notification CEN 05/2024 For Various NTPC Graduate Posts

This notice is regarding the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for candidates shortlisted from the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2).

Important Dates and Information

  • CBT-2 Date: 13th October, 2025
  • CBT-2 Result Publication Date: 15th December, 2025, on official RRB Websites.
  • CBTST Tentative Schedule: 28th December, 2025
  • Exam City & Date and SC/ST Travelling Authority: Link for viewing and downloading will be available on RRB websites 10 days prior to the Exam.
  • E-Call Letter Download: Starts 4 days prior to the exam date mentioned in the Exam City and Date intimation link.

Typing Language Option

  • Shortlisted candidates for CBTST must exercise their option for Typing Language (either English or Hindi) on the candidate console before the exam begins.
  • If no language is chosen within the stipulated time, the default language for typing will be ENGLISH.
  • Candidates are advised to choose the language option carefully, as it cannot be changed under any circumstances once exercised. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Provisions for PwBD Candidates

  • PwBD candidates eligible for exemption from the Typing Skill Test are advised to upload a valid Medical Certificate through the grievance/helpdesk portal using their candidate login by 18:00 hrs. of 26th December, 2025.
  • Alternatively, valid Medical certificates can be physically submitted at the examination center on the day of examination.

Examination Day Requirements

  • Aadhaar linked Biometric authentication of candidates will be conducted at the exam center prior to entry into the exam hall.
  • Candidates are required to bring their original Aadhaar card.

  • Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for the latest updates on the recruitment process and to not be misled by unauthenticated sources.
  • Candidates are cautioned against touts who try to misguide them with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and recruitment is based solely on the merit of the candidates.
