Schedule for 2nd Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination for the Post of ALP (CEN NO. 01/2024)

Introduction

Further to the notice dated 10/10/2025, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Malda has shortlisted 89 candidates for the 2nd Document Verification (DV) for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Cat No.1, under CEN No. 01/2024.

Document Verification Schedule

  • Dates: From 27/01/2026 to 30/01/2026
  • Reporting Time: 10:00 AM
  • Venue: Railway Recruitment Board, Malda
  • Block Date: Candidates who fail to appear on their scheduled date must appear for DV on the block date of 10/02/2026 at 10:30 AM. Failure to report on either the scheduled date or the block date will result in the rejection of candidature.

E-Call Letter

Candidates will be notified via E-Mail/SMS to download their e-call letter and Travelling Pass (if applicable). The DV e-call letter can be downloaded from the official RRB Malda website, www.rrbmalda.gov.in, starting 07 days prior to the scheduled DV date. The e-call letter will contain detailed instructions and guidelines.

Document Upload Instructions

Candidates are required to upload clear scanned images of all documents, a colour scanned copy of their passport-size photograph, and their signature to the RRB Document Verification Portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. This portal will be active for uploading from 07 days before the DV date until the DV date.

Documents to Bring for DV

Candidates must bring the following items to the verification:

  1. All original certificates and documents as per CEN No. 01/2024.
  2. Two (02) sets of clear, legible, self-attested photocopies of all original documents.
  3. Six (06) recent passport-size colour photographs.
  4. Three (03) copies of the DV call letter.

Medical Examination

Following the completion of Document Verification, candidates will be sent for a Medical Examination at a nominated Railway Hospital on the next day. Candidates should come prepared for both DV and the Medical Examination.

Important Notes

  • Merely being called for Document Verification does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
  • Candidature is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment if any discrepancy, inconsistency, or deficiency is found in the documents.
  • Failure to report on the given date and time will lead to the rejection of candidature.
  • RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent typographical or printing errors.
  • Candidates are warned against touts offering fake promises of appointment. Selections are based solely on merit from the Computer Based Test (CBT).
