Important Notice Regarding Gender Correction

Reference: Advertisement No. 03/2025

This notice is for all candidates who applied for constable recruitment through the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), Bihar, in response to Advertisement No. 03/2025. Online applications were accepted from October 6, 2025, to November 5, 2025.

Upon scrutinizing the online applications, the following discrepancies in gender information were found:

  1. 1223 candidates who entered their name, photo, and signature as female, incorrectly selected their gender as 'Male'.
  2. 217 candidates who entered their name, photo, and signature as male, incorrectly selected their gender as 'Female'.

After a thorough review, the gender for these 1440 candidates has been corrected by the board. A list of these candidates is attached to the official notice.

Opportunity for Objections

If any of the affected candidates have an objection regarding the gender correction, they may submit an application in person at the board's office.

  • Dates for Submission: Any working day from January 17, 2026, to January 25, 2026.
  • Location: Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) Office, 08, Back Harding Road, Patna-800001.
