This notice addresses the provisional year-wise Seniority List of Judicial Officers in the cadre of Civil Judge Senior Division for the years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Further to High Court letter No. A-1201/485/2023, dated March 13, 2023, the Hon'ble Committee has disposed of the objections raised by Senior Civil Judges (including petitioners in W.P No. 3652 of 2024) regarding the Draft Seniority List.
The Provisional Seniority / Gradation List of Civil Judges Senior Division (Maharashtra - Selection Processes 2016 to 2023) was prepared pursuant to the Maharashtra Judicial Service (Seniority) Rules, 2007, as amended by the Maharashtra Judicial Service (Seniority) (Amendment) Rules, 2025. This list was previously published on the official website of the Bombay High Court along with a notice dated March 13, 2023, inviting objections.
The Provisional year-wise Seniority List of Judicial Officers in the grade of Civil Judge, Senior Division, by promotion (regular / through competitive exam) from amongst Civil Judge Junior Division appointed as per Selection Process-2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, has been approved by the Committee of Hon'ble Judges. This list, along with the Seniority rules, is now uploaded on the official website of the High Court, Bombay.
Any Judicial Officer with objections to the Provisional year-wise Seniority List(s) may submit their written objections within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice. Objections must be sent via email to the official email address: rg-bhc@nic.in.
