In reference to Notice No. HQ-IT018/4/2024-IT (Comp. No.:10517) dated 16.01.2026, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released important information for candidates of the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025.
Examination City Details: The details of the City of Examination are now available. Candidates can view this information by logging into the designated module on the Commission's website: https://ssc.gov.in/.
Admission Certificate and Scribe Entry Pass: The 'Admission Certificate' and 'Scribe Entry Pass' will be available for download approximately 2-3 days prior to the date of the examination. These can also be accessed through the login module on the SSC website. Detailed instructions were published in a notice on 26.06.2025.
Fresh Registration: Candidates using the 'Own Scribe' facility must complete a fresh Scribe registration on the Commission's website, as all registrations prior to 05.11.2025 have been disposed of.
Aadhaar Authentication: Scribe registration is now integrated with Aadhaar Authentication, making it mandatory for all individuals willing to be scribes to complete the fresh registration.
Scribe Age Limit: The maximum permissible age for an 'Own Scribe' is 20 years, as per the updated policy (F. N. PP001/14/2024-PP) dated 04.11.2025.
Scribe Entry Pass Generation: To generate a Scribe's Entry Pass, candidates must submit their Scribe's registration number.
Mapping Scribe OTR: Candidates who have opted for an 'own scribe' must map their Scribe OTR by 02.02.2026 (11 pm). The Scribe Entry Pass will only be generated for candidates who successfully complete this mapping.
