Madhya Pradesh ESB Group 5 Combined Recruitment Test 2026 for Staff Nurse, Paramedical and Other Posts

Introduction

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (ESB), Bhopal, has released the rulebook for the Group-5 Combined Recruitment Test - 2026. This examination is for direct and backlog recruitment of Staff Nurses, Paramedical Staff, and other equivalent posts in various departments of the state government.

Eligibility and Age Limit

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination along with a relevant diploma or higher qualification as prescribed by the respective departments for each post.
• Age Limit (as of 01-01-2026):
  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation: For permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh belonging to SC, ST, OBC, government employees, and women (reserved/unreserved), the maximum age limit is 45 years (including 5 years of relaxation).
• Employment Registration: A live registration with the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Office is mandatory for all candidates.

Examination Pattern

The online examination will consist of a single question paper with a total of 100 marks, divided into two sections:

Important Instructions

1. Aadhaar registration is mandatory for all candidates.
2. Candidates must bring an original photo ID proof (Voter ID, PAN card, Aadhaar card, Driving License, Passport) to the examination center. e-Aadhaar will be valid only if verified by UIDAI.
3. Multi-level biometric verification will be conducted during the examination.
4. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, log tables, digital watches, etc., are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
5. Candidates must download their admit card from the ESB website. It will not be sent by post.
