This notice announces the provisional panel for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Category-1 (NER), for Level-2 under Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) No. 01/2024.

Selection Basis

The panel is based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), and Document Verification cum-Medical Examination conducted from 15.10.2025 to 16.10.2025 by the Railway Recruitment Board, Gorakhpur. A total of two candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for empanelment.

Important Information for Candidates

  • Provisional Candidature: The inclusion in this panel is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation in case of any inconsistency or deficiency in the data furnished, or any malpractice noticed at any stage of the recruitment process. Merely being placed on the panel does not guarantee an appointment in the railways.
  • Excluded Candidates: The roll numbers of some candidates have not been included in this result due to shortcomings in their submitted documents, failure to meet prescribed qualifications, issues with biometric verification, or being found medically unfit.
  • Tie-Breaking Rule: In cases where two or more candidates secure the same marks, the merit position is determined by age criteria, with the older candidate being placed higher. If the age is also the same, alphabetical order (A to Z) of names is used to break the tie.
  • Further Process: The names of the empaneled candidates are being forwarded to the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur. Further action for appointment will be taken by the Principal Chief Personnel Officer after due verification of original certificates (Educational/Technical, Date of Birth, Caste, EWS, OBC), Character & Antecedents, and any required affidavits.
  • Affidavit Requirement: All candidates will be required to submit an affidavit confirming that their Degree/Diploma and Caste certificates are genuine and valid.
