Important Notice for Anganwadi Assistant Recruitment

This is to inform the public that direct recruitment is being conducted for vacant posts of Anganwadi Assistants, based on an honorarium, in the urban/rural areas of Unnao district, as per the new government order number 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated September 17, 2025. Online application forms are invited through the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in.

Eligibility Criteria and Application Instructions

  1. Only female candidates are eligible for the posts advertised in this notification.
  2. The minimum educational qualification for vacant Anganwadi Assistant posts will be Intermediate (12th grade) or equivalent. Merit will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Intermediate, Graduation, and Post-Graduation.
  3. The applicant must be a permanent resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area) as the vacant post.
  4. The applicant's age, as of July 01, 2025, should not be less than 18 years and not more than 35 years.
  5. Only the date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid for age verification.
  6. Applications for the posts advertised in this notification will only be accepted online through the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in within the stipulated time frame. Offline application forms will not be accepted or considered under any circumstances.
  7. Online applications for the posts advertised in the notification will be accepted only until midnight on December 12, 2025.
  8. The number of vacant posts advertised in the notification may increase or decrease under special circumstances.
  9. Detailed information regarding eligibility and the application process for the aforementioned posts is also available on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in. For more information, you can visit the office of the Child Development Project Officer at the Development Block/City, the District Program Officer's office at the Development Building, Unnao, during working hours on office days.
  10. Regarding income certificates, only income certificates issued by the competent authority, whose online verification is possible, will be valid as per Uttar Pradesh Government's Revenue Section-9, Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj0-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended). In the future, if any separate government order is issued by the Revenue Department in this regard, action will be taken according to the provisions mentioned in the new government order.
  11. Regarding the standards for the poverty line, the income limit specified for rural and urban areas will be followed as per Uttar Pradesh Government's Social Welfare Section-2, Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated September 14, 2015 (as amended).
  12. Regarding residence and caste certificates, only certificates issued by Tehsil with online digital signatures will be valid, whose online verification is possible.

Preference Order for Selection of Anganwadi Assistant Posts

  1. Preference will be given to widow BPL candidates residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  2. Preference will be given to divorced/abandoned BPL candidates residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  3. Preference will be given to BPL candidates residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  4. Preference will be given to widow APL candidates residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  5. Preference will be given to divorced/abandoned APL candidates residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  6. Preference will be given to APL candidates residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  7. In the case of divorced/abandoned individuals, legal orders issued by the competent court will be valid.
  8. For widow applicants, the attested copy of the certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and family register will be valid.
