The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the State Service Examination 2026 to fill various posts in different government departments.

Application Fee

  • For MP Domicile (SC, ST, OBC - Non-Creamy Layer, EWS, PwD categories): ₹ 250/-
  • For all other categories and candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh: ₹ 500/-
  • Portal Charges: ₹ 40/- (additional for all categories)
  • Error Correction Fee: ₹ 50/- per session.

Payment can be made via Credit/Debit Card, Internet Banking, or through MP Online Kiosks.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or be in the final year of their graduation. Candidates in their final year must submit proof of passing the examination before the last date of applying for the Main Examination.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

  • For Non-Uniformed Posts: 21 to 40 years.
  • For Uniformed Posts: 21 to 33 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories, government employees, women, etc., as per Madhya Pradesh government rules.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of three stages:

  1. State Service Preliminary Examination: Objective type (OMR based) for screening candidates for the Main Exam. There will be negative marking in the Preliminary Exam.
  2. State Service Main Examination: Written (descriptive type) for shortlisting candidates for the interview.
  3. Interview: Personality test.

How to Apply

  1. Applications will be accepted online only through the official websites: www.mppsc.mp.gov.in and www.mponline.gov.in.
  2. Candidates are advised to read the advertisement carefully before filling out the application form.
  3. A recent passport-size photograph and signature must be scanned and uploaded as per the specified dimensions.
  4. After successful payment, candidates must download and print the application form for future reference.

General Instructions

  • Candidates must ensure their name, father's name, and date of birth match the details in their 10th (High School) mark sheet.
  • Reservation benefits are available only for the domicile candidates of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Candidates from other states will be treated as Unreserved (UR) category.
  • Candidates must have a live registration with the Madhya Pradesh employment exchange (Rojgar Panjiyan) at the time of the interview (not mandatory for candidates from other states).
  • It is mandatory to carry a valid photo ID proof along with the admit card to the examination center.
