Document Verification and Medical Examination Schedule

This notice announces the schedule for Document Verification (DV), Genuineness of Candidature, and Medical Examination for candidates shortlisted under CEN No. 01/2024 (ALP).

Important Instructions for Document Verification (DV)

1. E-Call Letter: Candidates must bring the e-call letter for document verification, which can be downloaded from the official website of RRB Gorakhpur (www.rrbgkp.gov.in). The e-call letter must be produced at the entry of the DV venue. Candidates are advised to read the list of original documents required, as specified on the back side/2nd page of the e-call letter.
2. Documents Required: Candidates must produce all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies of all documents at the time of DV. If certificates are not in English/Hindi, a self-attested translated version (in Hindi/English) must be produced. All certificates must be in the prescribed formats. Failure to produce original certificates on the DV date will lead to forfeiture/cancellation of candidature.
3. ID Proofs: Bring one original, valid, and current photo ID proof and Address ID proof that was presented at the time of CBTs.
4. Photographs: Bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs, which should not be more than one month old. These will be required for DV and Medical Examination.
5. CBT-1 E-Call Letter: Candidates must also bring their candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT-1.
6. Prohibited Items: Mobile phones are strictly not permitted during document verification or medical examination.

Medical Examination (ME)

1. Medical Test Fee: Candidates need to attend the Medical Test (Examination) after Document Verification by paying a fee of Rs. 24/-.
2. Intimation: The exact date and place of the Medical Examination will be intimated at the time of DV.
3. Admit Card: The admit card for the Medical Test will be issued at the time of DV.
4. Duration: Candidates should be prepared to stay for more than 4 days for DV/Medical examination at their own cost.
5. Belongings: Do not bring belongings to the Railway Hospitals as there is no facility to keep them. For the medical examination, carry only the Admit card for Medical Test (Examination) and one original valid & current Photo ID and Address ID proof. No fees will be charged at the Hospital for the medical examination itself, so candidates are advised not to carry cash.

Block Date for Absentee Candidates

• Date: October 30, 2025, at 10:00 Hrs.
• Eligibility: This is a second and final chance for candidates who fail to report for Document Verification on their regularly assigned dates due to valid reasons such as appearing in a University/Government examination or sickness. No other reason for absence will be considered. Candidates must attend with the same e-call letter uploaded for the regular Document Verification; no fresh e-call letter will be sent for this purpose. Failure to report on the scheduled block date without documentary evidence will lead to rejection of candidature.
