Provisional Empanelment for Nursing Superintendent

Based on the performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification cum-Medical Examination conducted on 30.01.2026, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Gorakhpur has provisionally shortlisted one candidate for empanelment to the post of Nursing Superintendent, Category-1, (NER) under CEN 04/2024.

Important Information for Candidates

  1. Exclusion: Some candidates have not been included in this result due to shortcomings in their submitted documents, not fulfilling prescribed qualifications, biometric verification issues, or being medically unfit.
  2. Tie-Breaking Criteria: In cases where two or more candidates secure the same marks, the merit position is determined by age, with the older candidate placed higher. If the age is also the same, alphabetical order (A to Z) of names is used to break the tie.
  3. Provisional Candidature: The candidature is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage if any inconsistency, deficiency, or malpractice is found. Placement in this provisional result does not guarantee an appointment in the railways.
  4. Error Rectification: While all care has been taken, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes.
  5. Next Steps: The name of the provisionally selected candidate is being forwarded to the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur. Further action on appointment will be taken by their office after due verification of original certificates (Educational/Technical Qualification, Date of Birth, Caste, EWS, OBC), character, and antecedents.
  6. Affidavit Requirement: Candidates will need to submit an affidavit confirming the genuineness and validity of their Degree/Diploma and Caste certificates.
  7. Warning: Candidates are advised to beware of touts who may make false promises of selection. The RRB recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based purely on merit.
