United India Insurance Co. Ltd (UIICL) is inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens who are Engineering and Non-Engineering graduates for a one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act, 1973 for the year 2025-26.

Eligibility Criteria

Requisite Qualification (as on 01.12.2025)

  • Candidates must have passed Under graduation (Regular - Full time) in any discipline from a University/Institution recognized by AICTE/DOTE/UGC.
  • Candidates should have passed their graduation not earlier than 01.07.2021 (i.e., in the years from July 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025).
  • Candidates with a Post-Graduate Degree, one year or more of work experience, or who have undergone prior apprenticeship training are not eligible.

Age Limit (as on 01.12.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years
  • Candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.12.1997 and not later than 01.12.2004 (both days inclusive).
  • Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

Selection Procedure

  • Shortlisting will be based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying Graduate Degree Examination.
  • Candidates with results in CGPA/OGPA/GPA must convert it to a percentage by multiplying the grade by a factor of 10.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be intimated via their registered email for document verification.

Candidates must enroll and apply through the National Web Portal (NATS).

  1. Visit the official NATS portal: https://nats.education.gov.in.
  2. Register as a student if not already enrolled.
  3. After logging in, go to "Apply against advertised vacancies".
  4. Search for "UNITED INDIA INSURANCE COMPANY LTD" (USER ID: STNCHC100938) and click "Apply".
  5. Ensure all required documents (Degree/Provisional Certificate, Mark Sheet, Aadhaar, Bank Passbook, Photograph) are uploaded and the profile is 100% complete.

Other Terms and Conditions

  • The monthly stipend of Rs. 9,000 will be paid to the apprentice. This includes a Government share of Rs. 4,500 credited via DBT.
  • Apprentices are entitled to 12 Casual Leaves and 4 Sick Leaves per quarter during the training period.
  • This apprenticeship does not guarantee any future employment with United India Insurance Co. Ltd.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the certificate verification.
