Shortlisting of Candidates for 2nd Stage CBT

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Gorakhpur has announced the provisional shortlisting of candidates for the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for NTPC (Graduate and Under Graduate Posts) against CEN 01/2019. The shortlisting is based on the performance in the 1st Stage CBT conducted from December 28, 2020, to July 31, 2021.

Key Information

  • Selection Basis: Candidates have been shortlisted based on merit in the 1st Stage CBT, considering their preference for various posts.
  • 2nd Stage CBT Schedule: The 2nd Stage CBT for the provisionally qualified candidates is tentatively scheduled from February 14, 2022, to February 18, 2022.
  • Exam Structure: Separate 2nd Stage CBTs will be conducted for each of the 7th CPC Levels (2, 3, 4, 5, and 6). All posts within the same level will have a common 2nd Stage CBT.
  • Admit Card and City Intimation: Exam City Intimation slips will be made available about 10 days prior to the exam date. The e-call letter will be available for download 4 days before the CBT date. Candidates will be notified via the official RRB websites, SMS, and Email.
  • Score Viewing: Candidates can view their individual scores and qualifying status for the 2nd Stage CBT by logging into the official RRB website using their Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  • Candidature: The candidature of all qualified candidates is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage if any inconsistency or malpractice is found.
  • Subsequent Stages: Further shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on performance in the 2nd Stage CBT and, where applicable, CBAT/TST.

  • Level 6: 02 candidates have been shortlisted.
  • Level 5: 74 candidates have been shortlisted.

Note: The roll numbers of the provisionally qualified candidates are arranged horizontally in ascending order and not in order of merit in the original document.
