    • Economically Backward Classes (EBC) candidates (defined under Para 7.4 above) are not eligible for job reservation.
  • All candidates, irrespective of their community, may be considered for unreserved vacancies, provided they meet the criteria prescribed for unreserved candidates. However, where vacancies for Persons with Disabilities are shown separately as backlog vacancies (without any community indication), these are previous backlog vacancies and are not included in the regular community vacancies shown in this CEN.
  • Ex-Servicemen are specifically eligible for vacancies reserved for them. Even if no such vacancies are reserved for a particular post, they may apply for regular vacancies and will be eligible for age relaxation and fee concession in such cases.
  • Similarly, PwBD candidates may apply for regular vacancies for a post, even if no specific vacancies are reserved for them for that post, provided the post is suitable for their disability. In such cases, they will be eligible for age relaxation and fee concession.

Such candidates will not be considered for vacancies reserved for Ex-Servicemen in Central Government jobs.

A copy of the acknowledgment of this declaration along with the NOC from the civil employer must be submitted at the time of document verification, otherwise, they will not get reservation benefit for Ex-Servicemen.
