Declaration of Final Result for Constable (GD) Examination 2025

The Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result for the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025.

Examination Details

  • Computer Based Examination (CBE): Conducted from 04.02.2025 to 25.02.2025.
  • CBE Result Declaration: Declared on 17.06.2025. A total of 3,94,121 candidates (40,213 Female and 3,53,908 Male) were shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST).
  • PET/PST: Conducted from 20.08.2025 to 15.09.2025. The result was declared on 13.10.2025, shortlisting 95,575 candidates for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Document Verification (DV).

Vacancies and Allocation

A total of 53,690 vacancies have been considered for allocation to the following forces:

  • A-BSF (Border Security Force)
  • B-CISF (Central Industrial Security Force)
  • C-CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force)
  • D-SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal)
  • E-ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police)
  • F-AR (Assam Rifles)
  • G-NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau)
  • H-SSF (Secretariat Security Force)

The select list has been prepared based on All India and State-wise vacancies, with reservations for Border Districts/Naxal or Militancy affected Districts. Allocation to forces is based on merit-cum-preference of the candidates.

Tie-Resolution Criteria

In case of a tie in scores, the following criteria have been applied in order:

  1. Marks in Part-A of Computer Based Examination.
  2. Marks in Part-B of Computer Based Examination.
  3. Date of Birth (older candidates placed higher).
  4. Alphabetical order of names.

Important Information

  • Withheld Results: The final results of 2003 candidates have been kept withheld due to court orders/suspected malpractices.
  • Debarred Candidates: The results of 345 candidates have not been processed as they were debarred by Regional Offices.
  • Court Cases: Recommendations for 09 candidates are subject to the outcome of court cases. Vacancies for 84 candidates have been kept reserved due to various court orders.
  • Select Lists:
    • List-1: 4817 female candidates recommended for appointment.
    • List-2: 43296 male candidates recommended for appointment.
    • List-3: 2003 candidates whose candidature is withheld.
  • No Reserve List: No Reserve List/Waiting List is prepared by the Commission. Unfilled vacancies will be carried forward to the next recruitment cycle.

Candidates are advised to check the official SSC website for detailed annexures regarding cut-off marks and lists of selected candidates. Detailed marks of all selected and not-selected candidates will be uploaded on the Commission's website in due course.
