Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Exam City & Date and Travel Authority: The link for viewing Exam City & Date and downloading Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made live 10 days prior to the exam date on the official websites of all RRBs.
  • E-Call Letters: Downloading of E-Call letters will commence 4 days prior to the exam date mentioned in the Exam City and Date intimation link.
  • Aadhaar Linked Biometric Authentication: Aadhaar linked biometric authentication will be conducted at the exam center prior to entry. Candidates must bring their original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar. Candidates are advised to authenticate their identification through Aadhaar verification by logging into www.rrbapply.gov.in if not already done.
  • Aadhaar Unlocked Status: Candidates who have verified their Aadhaar during the application submission stage are requested to ensure their Aadhaar remains in an unlocked condition in the UIDAI system before coming to the exam center to avoid inconvenience during registration and exam-related processes.
  • Official Websites: Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for the latest updates on the recruitment process. Do not be misled by unauthenticated sources.
  • Warning Against Touts: Candidates are warned against individuals who may try to misguide them with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on the Computer Based Test (CBT), and recruitment is solely based on the merit of the candidates.
