Important Notice for Document Verification
This notification announces the 2nd Round Document Verification (DV) schedule for provisionally shortlisted candidates in Paramedical Categories under CEN 04/2024. Initially, 95 candidates were shortlisted for DV against CEN 04/2024, and that process is complete. This current notice pertains to an additional set of candidates.
Key Details
- Candidates with the roll numbers listed in the schedule below have been provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification/Certificates & genuineness of candidature and subsequent Medical Examination.
- Reporting Location: Office of Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati, Panbazar, Station Road, Guwahati-781001.
- e-Call Letters: SMS/E-mail alerts will be sent to registered mobile/email IDs for downloading e-call letters from the official RRB Guwahati website (www.rrbguwahati.gov.in).
- Online Uploads: Candidates must upload their signature, latest photograph, and identification marks to the portal (https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/). The portal will be active for 10 days prior to and up to the DV date. Detailed instructions are provided in the e-call letter.
- Required Documents for DV: All original documents along with two sets of A4 size self-attested photocopies, as detailed in the CEN notification and e-call letter.
Medical Examination
- After DV, candidates will be sent for medical examination at a nominated Railway Hospital (NFR) on the next day. Candidates should be prepared to stay for three to four days.
- A medical fee of Rs 24/- is payable. Additional charges may apply for special investigations (e.g., CT Scan, Ultra Sound, eye surgery tests) if required at external laboratories/hospitals due to lack of facilities at the Railway Hospital.
Important Considerations
- Provisional Candidature: Candidature is purely provisional and liable to cancellation at any stage for inconsistencies, deficiencies, or malpractice.
- No Guarantee of Appointment: Shortlisting for DV/Medical examination does not guarantee appointment in the Railways.
- Accuracy: RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.
Warning Against Malpractice
Beware of touts making false promises of selection. The recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is strictly merit-based. Refer to official RRB websites for reliable updates.

Detailed Instructions for Document Verification
1. Certificates/Documents to Bring (Originals + 2 Sets of Self-Attested Photocopies + e-Call Letter)
- Matriculation/High School Examination certificate (proof of date of birth & matriculation qualification). Name variations require a magistrate/notary affidavit.
- 10+2/Inter/Higher Secondary/PUC/Equivalent Certificate (if applicable).
- University degree or its equivalent.
- Other certificates/diplomas as prescribed under minimum educational qualification in Annexure of detailed CEN 04/2024 (Paramedical Categories).
- Educational Qualification Certificates (Provisional or Regular) must have date of issue. If the issue date is after the online application closing date, submit consolidated mark sheets with result declaration date or an institution certificate stating result declaration date.
- SC/ST certificate in Annexure-I of CEN 04/2024.
- Valid OBC-NCL certificate in Annexure-II of CEN 04/2024 (not older than one year from DV date).
- Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC candidates as per Annexure-IIA of CEN 04/2024.
- Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) as per Annexure III of CEN 04/2024.
- Income certificate for fee waiver for Economically Backward classes as per Annexure III A/BPL Card/Izzat MST of CEN 04/2024.
- Original Discharge Certificate, Ex-Servicemen book, Identity card for Ex-Servicemen. Ex-Servicemen securing civil employment after applying for CEN 04/2024 must provide a self-declaration to their employer, an acknowledged copy of the declaration, and an NOC with the probable date of discharge.
- Medical Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) as per Annexures V(A), V(B), V(C) of CEN 04/2024.
- NOC with Date of Appointment from current employer (for Serving Employees).
- Minority Community Declaration on Non-Judicial Stamp paper as per Annexure - IV of CEN 04/2024.
- Gazette Notification and/or any legal document for formal name change.
- J&K Domicile Certificate (if applicable).
- Certificate of eligibility from Government of India (for candidates other than citizens of India).
- Decree of Divorce/Judicial separation and affidavit stating non-remarriage (for divorcee/judicially separated women).
- Death certificate of spouse and affidavit stating non-remarriage (for widow candidates).
- Any other relevant certificate/testimonials/documents.
2. Additional Documents to Bring for DV
- 06 Passport size photographs (not older than three months).
- Upper portion of the e-call letters of CBT.
- Photocopy of both sides of Aadhar card.
3. Consequences of Failure to Produce Documents
Failure to produce original certificates on the DV date, furnishing false information, deliberate suppression, or using unfair means will lead to rejection of candidature, disqualification, debarment from future selections, and termination of service if already appointed.
4. Entitlement to Appointment
Merely being called for DV & Medical Examination does not entitle a candidate to appointment. Empanelment is subject to the correctness of all information submitted, CBT/Skill/Performance Test, and document verification.
5. Travel Authority for SC/ST Candidates
SC/ST candidates will be provided free travel authority to attend DV at RRB and Medical Examination at the Railway Hospital, and then return to their home station. An original caste certificate must be produced to avail this.
6. Medical Examination Details
Candidates must attend Medical Examination after DV, paying Rs.24/-. The date, time, and place will be intimated during DV. Candidates should be prepared to stay for more than 4 days for DV/Medical Examination at their own cost.
Important: Failure to report for Document Verification on the scheduled date will result in rejection of candidature, unless supported by documentary evidence of a University/Government examination or sickness. No other reasons for absence will be considered, and no fresh e-call letter will be issued.
