Introduction
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Guwahati has released the schedule for the 4th round of Document Verification (DV) for the post of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) under CEN 01/2024. This follows a previous notice dated 30.12.2025 where 19 candidates were shortlisted for the 3rd round DV.
DV Schedule and Venue
Candidates are provisionally shortlisted for the verification of documents, certificates, and genuineness of their candidature, followed by a Medical Examination.

Pre-DV Formalities
- E-Call Letter: SMS and E-mail alerts are being sent to registered mobile numbers and email IDs for downloading the e-call letter from the official RRB Guwahati website.
- Portal for Uploads: Candidates must upload their signature, latest photograph, and identification marks on the portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. This portal will be active until the date of the DV.
Medical Examination
Following the DV, candidates will be directed to a nominated Railway Hospital under the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) jurisdiction on the next day.
- Medical Fee: Rs. 24/-.
- Stay: Candidates should be prepared for a stay of three to four days.
- Additional Tests: In rare cases where investigations like CT Scan, Ultra Sound, or tests for refractive eye surgery are required, candidates may have to pay the requisite amount to the concerned laboratory if the facility is unavailable at the Railway Hospital.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidature: The shortlisting is purely provisional and subject to cancellation at any stage if any inconsistency, deficiency, or malpractice is found.
- No Guarantee of Appointment: Being called for DV/Medical Examination does not guarantee an appointment in the Railways.
- Required Documents: Candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of clear, self-attested photocopies in A4 size. Key documents include:
- Matriculation/High School Certificate (for proof of date of birth).
- 10+2/Inter/Higher Secondary Certificate.
- University Degree or equivalent.
- Relevant certificates for SC/ST, OBC-NCL (not older than one year), EWS, etc., in the prescribed format.
- Original Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen.
- NOC for currently serving employees.
- Any other relevant certificates as mentioned in CEN 01/2024.
- Additional Items to Bring:
- Six passport-size photographs (not older than three months).
- Upper portion of the e-call letters of the CBT.
- Photocopy of both sides of the Aadhaar card.
- Failure to Report: Failure to report for DV on the scheduled date will lead to the rejection of candidature, unless supported by documentary evidence of appearing in a University/Government examination or due to sickness. No other reason for absence will be considered.
Travel Authority for SC/ST Candidates
Free travel authority is provided with the call letter for SC/ST candidates to attend the DV. A separate authority for travel to the Railway Hospital for medical examination will be issued at the RRB office after the DV is completed.
