This notice pertains to the Result of the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) and the subsequent shortlisting of candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT against CEN No. 06/2024 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under-Graduate) posts.

Key Information

  • CBT-I Conduct Dates: The 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) was conducted by Railway Recruitment Boards from August 07, 2025, to September 09, 2025.
  • Shortlisted Candidates: Candidates bearing the Roll Numbers listed in the original notice have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the 2nd Stage CBT.
  • Shortlisting Basis: Candidates have been shortlisted based on their merit in the 1st Stage CBT and their order of preference for various posts.
  • Reservation Benefits: Candidates shortlisted availing reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, ExSM) shall continue to be considered under their respective reserved categories for all subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
  • 2nd Stage CBT: The 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for provisionally shortlisted candidates will be held soon. The exact dates for the 2nd Stage CBT will be notified in due course.
  • Document Verification Shortlisting: The final shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the performance of candidates in the 2nd Stage CBT and, where applicable, the CBTST.
  • Individual Results/Scorecards: Candidates can view their individual results/scorecards by logging into the RRB portal using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. This facility will be available from November 21, 2025, 05:00 PM onwards.
  • Question Paper View: Upon logging in, candidates can also view their question paper, along with the correct answers marked among the four options.

Important Instructions and Warnings

  • Provisional Candidature: The candidature of all qualified candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency, deficiency in data, or malpractice is detected.
  • No Guarantee of Appointment: Merely being called for the 2nd Stage CBT does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
  • Error Rectification: While utmost care has been taken in preparing the list of qualified candidates, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes.
  • No Correspondence: RRB will not entertain any correspondence from unsuccessful candidates.
  • Regular Updates: Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website of RRBs for updates and information.
  • Roll Number Arrangement: The Roll Numbers of the provisionally qualified candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT are arranged horizontally in ascending order and not in order of merit.
  • Beware of Touts: Candidates are warned against touts who may misguide them with false promises of selection based on illegal considerations. The recruitment process in RRB exams is fully computerized, and selection is based purely on candidate merit.
